FFXIV Halloween 2012

I am hoping this would be the best time to introduce the lovable monster:

I think it would be the best monster to add before 2.0. How to introduce it?

Halloween quest of course!

Quest: Some of the Tonberries living on the borders of Mor Dhona have gone rogue and think by ridding the land of it's current inhabitants will appease Dalamud.

Objective: Vanquish the tonberries that want to appease Dalamud.

Quest started: Ambassador Xine (Tonberry)

Reward: For defeating the rogues, the tonberry ambassador makes you an honorary member of a tonberry fan club, plus the reward of Knife (Main hand), Lantern (Off Hand), Tonberry cloak (Shoes included) and Tonberry Mask (Head).

Overall, I just really want a tonberry costume for my lalafel :D

There could be several other costumes if people want. Draw a picture of what you think would be good for a race!

Cute, At this point i would just be satisfied to see another holiday event before 2.0. They already skipped Gold Week.

Halloween would be too late wouldn't it? 1.x is going down late september/early october.

I thought it was december.

2.0 PC beta is slated for October. Free trial and PS3 beta for November.

ya i don't see a halloween with all this beta issue going on.

That's an awesome idea, I'd love to stalk people dressed as a tonberry :P But I agree with the others, I doubt we'll see a Halloween event this year :(

You would think Tonberries would be the creature that parent's use in stories to scare thier children into behaving...they are creepy.

Would be a good Halloween costume lol
