Linkshell and Friends list notifications

Is there some way to add a notification for when friends and pearl mates log in? Also status text of their location and class/LvL? Can and/or will this be added to 2.0?

Basic functionality, +1.

Hopefully in 2.0

I really want notifications when people on my friend list logs on, though I'll skip notifications for LS mates. The option should still be there for those who want it, of course.
