Choosing a Bow

Hello, I'm currently leveling up my Archer and I've been having trouble choosing a bow. Originally I was just going with whatever had the highest DPS as that's basically how you choose a weapon on most of the other DD jobs where your WS's are the majority of your DMG but I've read here that sometimes the higher DMG rating(and lower DPS score) for LS is better than going for higher WS's?

I think that may have been before they nerfed Light Shot.

Now that Light Shot gets its cool down reset after a WS is used, we can't use it nearly as often.
