Crazy Idea - Gold Saucer Events In Player Housing?

I noticed some people are looking for things to do in housing that are relevant to gameplay and not just for spotify/rp.

Would people like the idea of some kind of GC event that you portal into from someone's house?

I would say... no.

already enough people think that by not having a house they are missing out on something. no need to add to that feeling.

The reason I proposed this was so that you have a reason to visit people's houses. It's not for self-progression but for a reason to visit the housing districts.

Housing is pretty much as you Described. RP.

Now what they COULD do instead is develop more intractables, and even develop some items that could be like games.
Like some of the Gold Saucer Machines, but in Player Housing.
Perhaps some Mini Games for Training the Chocos that could teach them Unique Skills....but of course that would mean they Update Chocobos.

There already are GS machines for houses though. Cuff-a-Cur, Monster Toss, Moogle's Paw, Out on a Limb, Finer Miner all have machines. You can easily farm MGP in your own home/apartment using them too

They did a holiday event with trees with different shapes at the top of them and you had to visit other houses that had them in their front yards. https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/w...ebration_(2014)

I personally didn't like it very much. More so when a lot of people just didn't want to put the trees out in their yards.

I remember everyone was just going into ward 1 and the other wards were pretty much dead. Kinda sad that nobody was visiting your christmas tree D:

I have many Gold Saucer events held under the bridge i live in. My first one is called "Rock Tanning". It's when you take the rocks and you turn them over so they tan evenly.
