Moogle Treasure Trove

Can we get a verity of objectives to complete for the Moogle Treasure Trove? It’s 10 years of the same dungeons. Could we get maybe class objectives or kill objectives added. Like play as a healer or tank in X dungeon. Maybe throughout the whole event kill a total if 10 bosses or something.

If possible add an 1 time clear objective for a hunt or crafting. Maybe chain some of the objectives into multiple steps. Like craft and item use it in a dungeon.

Just leave Fates out of it we had enough of those.

I assume they might not be able to program the game to look for those specially, or if it is possible then it's more complicated than the effort is worth. They're just being handled as dungeon rewards.

Anyway, I think it's fairly clear that the whole intent is exactly to get people running those dungeons, not present them with an arbitrary checklist of novelty things to do.

What sort of "kill objectives" would you be after anyway? We already kill everything in the dungeon. If you want tasks in the overworld then you have the Hunt and the umpteen quests requiring you to farm FATEs for something-or-other, which people (including yourself) already complain about being overdone.

Can we stop putting eureka items in the treasure troves

They are still fully attainable, do they need to keep tanking eurekan item prices by putting them in these events

It's not Eurekan items that are the issue but the tradeable items (fat cat is another example). The Eurekan t-Rex is not tradeable and doesn't affect the MB but for other items, Eurekan or not, they should stick to non tradeable items. It makes no sense to put items that can be traded via the Market board.

I agree. Treasure Trove has tanked items that otherwise held some decent value. Nothing should be tradeable directly from Treasure Trove rewards. However, those special maps that guarantee you a portal - those should remain and let players sell those rewards.

The rarest item that's been in the Trove is the Shiver emote.
Nothing that's meant to be extremely rare has been in a trove event, if there was then there'd be actual riots. They aren't going to put the Dodo in. They aren't going to put the Eurekan Petrel or any Faux Hollow mounts in, and there's zero chance of them putting the Deinonychus into the exchange. Absolute Virtue and the Copycat Bulb aren't going in an event either for the same reason.

The trove is meant to have a few rare/hard to get items from parts of the game that don't get much engagement.
I'd rather not spend 50 hours beating up high level monsters in Pagos to have a 30% chance of them mutation to have a low chance at a box dropping in the first place, which drops an emote less than 1% of the time.

That said, I mostly agree here.
For some absurd reason, this event doesn't have MGP Vouchers *or* the new Potentially/Conceivably Special Treasure Maps (These aren't even datamined, they're in the Party Finder's Treasure Hunt menu.). I'd rather have the Starbird minion be from this than the Fat Cat, or the Wind-up Gunnhildr than the hairstyle from Zadnor.
