What maps in the future are you thinking would be good fits for the ocean fishing mechanic.
My personal pick would be something around Old Sharlayan, so that we can actually see more of the country, and definitely a fishing voyage set in the new world, that departs from the new city state of Tuliyollal. New World fishing would be a fun little activity to add early on in the next expansion. Especially if the trailer is anything to go by.
Id love a boat mount, maybe an outrigger canoe. Was in one of those when I holidayed in Samoa.

FSH main here who was most excited for the Ruby Route when 6.4 patch dropped, so yes, I'm expecting more Ocean Routes in the 7.x series. Ideally a Thavnarian map added to Ruby. And some Tural routes. I really hope one of the new zones we haven't been shown yet is a Caribbean-inspired zone that functions basically like The Ruby Sea but updated and with layout/aethyrite complaints addressed, sort of like how the Norvrandt zones were inspired upscale/remixes of ARR zones.
oooh, VelKallor - since there's guaranteed two mounts from the 6.5 V/C dungeon, one of the two should be an outrigger canoe - or do you think it'll be a surfboard? That they haven't reused the coding from the Air Force One or Chocobo Racing minigames for other ideas is a bit odd - if nothing else the Air Force One but reskinned for firing a canon while on a ship. Speaking of mounts, I still hold that the Lyngbakr from the Aetherfont should be a FSH reward mount somehow.
