My BIG FEAR for 7.0

BUTTON BLOAT!!! That is what I fear the most because I know the game is gonna be great. Seems like soooo many jobs could use a good condensing and pruning of abilities. I say bring on more one button combos like Confiteor for PLD. :cool: Sure theres other things to be worried about like good rewards for time spent on difficult endeavors, but Button Bloat is comin for us ALL! Beware!!!

Last thing I want is one button combos.
They're boring.

They'll remove stuff, they always do. The game still has to be playable on controller so there's a limit to what they can add.

Honestly, I'm at the point every skill should be oGCD, and your main attack 1-2-3 just replace auto attack. It's not exciting to press either 1-2-3-1-2-3 or 1-1-1-1-1-1 (if 1 button combo).

Unless you have more options to weave GCD skills (like Monk and kiiiinda Samurai), it's silly to have different buttons.

Heck, used to be more skill chains, but they keep changing them. I just noticed Paladin changed Goring Blade to a oGCD instead of an "alt" chain...so yeah, getting dumber.

Goring blade is a Weaponskill, not an Ability.

Its basically just Sonic Break from GnB without the DoT.

Square will do the same thing they always do

Delete old skills then re-add them later and pretend they are different

I rather that add traits than new abilities. I like how they change older abilities to function differently.

At this point do most jobs really need a full on new skill added? It would probably be better just to have nothing but passives during the levels going from 91-100 that augment or improve existing skills.

I'm mostly expecting more off-shoot abilities like Primal Rend that change buttons temporarily.

Offshoots or upgrades, but yeah not likely much else. Maybe one new button for some jobs, especially if they also end up losing something.
