Currency & Coins

Beastcoin reallocation.

Okay, im suggesting putting the "Beastcoins" in the
same window as "Gil" currently is located.

And possibly move the "Guild Marks" to a seperate tab.

I find it really annoying to have my beastcoins in my inventory at the moment.
Obviously they serve no purpose as for now, but i'd really hate to throw them
away now & later find out im in need of them to get something special.

Sounds good, but wouldn't that make it difficult to sell them on your retainer?

Or melt them down to metal when the recipe comes out.

Hm thats a point, still i was thinking more like FFXI's Beastcoin currency.
At the moment they serve no purpose hence why i see no reason to either sell / buy them.

However, if they intendu to introduce new currency much like dynamis currency i'd prolly
agree with the problem it would cause if they were not trade/sellable.

not really how beastcoins were used in xi, they were used to melt down to make ingots

AH well, im referring to the bsnm seals dropped from mobs in FFXI,
my bad for missleading using the "Beast Coin" when its really "Beast Currency".

Because i used to those to trade for BCNM orbs, in wich i think
the beast-coins in FFXIV might be used for aswell later on.

I guess we shall see if they do. No reason to think that beastcoins will be beastman seals though as they seem to function in exactly the same way beastman coins did in xi. Drop off of beastmen, tradable, different levels of metal.

I'm fine with guildmarks being on the currency tab, but I agree that beastcoins should be there as well - since they are currency, regardless of what they will be used for. I have reluctantly already tossed a few to make room for things.

As for the craft/trade concerns; Crystals are already on their own tab and can both be selected as a synthesis material, traded to other PCs and sold easily by a retainer. So I don't see why beastcoins wouldn't be able to be treated the same way. :)

Ya there is a good variety of beast currency as it is. Should probably be out in the currency tab, as mentioned above, regardless of what its final use is.

I am for this Idea. No one is buying or selling those things, they might as well be part of currency. and when there becomes a use for them, we will always have them
