What actually changed for hrothgars with the graphics upgrade?

Watching over the keynote and I legit cannot tell what changed with them.

I think on glance, eye textures, hair textures and skin got more rugged then smooth. Thing is...they put all the models in bright white lit rooms which makes them all look a little off. Should of just put them in a sample game world or at least like the first test samples where more natural lighting could be placed.

I said this in another thread, but they seemed to have done the prep work for new textures by adding a new bump map, some noise scattering and a darkening contrast. Those would make the new textures look really good when applied together. But at the moment, besides the hair texture, they didn't seem to have had enough time to add anything else. Just look at the eyes, in all other renders they made them look bright and saturated, but Hrothgar's remained the same.

They did say they are still updating them so I wouldn't pass judgement just yet. I would say to wait for the London fan fest for a better idea of what they will look like. :3

The face added wrinkles where the snout ends at the jaw, and if you take a better look hrothgar ears are actual ears now, they are much fuller, pronounced and the furred detail is sharper compared to our current stubby horns.
I do think however the facial fur looked worse? Its clearly meant to look more textured, as fur should, but it just looked kinda blurry to me.
Theres still a buttload of time til NEXT SUMMER so obv it will improve (I hope).

nothing lmao, still the same ugly pixelated hair and face as ever, they can't even match tos-violating mods in the update, much less exceed
