Name Change

anyone know if we can change the char name when 2.0 come's out?

Name change will be a wise thing to do because people will be changing gender.

Cause not everyone is you. :)

Serious question, why would you change your name?
Your name is your identity pre-2.0, why would you change it?
Why not create a totally new character if you like a new name

Even Yoshi-P questioned this in one of his letter

Would be nice if we can change our name in 2.0. I'm gonna roll a kitty cat in 2.0 I just can't decide if it's gonna be a boy or girl but if it's a girl I would change it to Avon Kra because I have always looked at my name as a boy's.

Because the name Rukira for a manthra is silly. Brittany seems much more fitting.

Changing name is so complex though cause then you pretty much wipe your identity in a sense. Even after the name change you then have to spend countless times explaining to others, ya I use to be Rina the Elezen but now I"m Rhino the Male Miquote. <_< Maybe they could give unique titles to people that change their names so others can ease into the process like "The Eelzen Formerly known as Rina" and such lol
