Game crashing with no error report

I've recently been experiencing random crashes with no error message. I have tried restoring game data, updating my drivers, toggling directx 11 support on and off, turning it off seems to work but causes random bouts of lag and uses more CPU than normal in task manager when the lag occurs. I have not attempted to reinstall the game yet. Only once have I gotten an error message containing the following:

This has only recently become an issue and is happening more and more often. Any help would be much appreciated. I play on windows 10 through the regular non-steam launcher.

What Platform are you using? (Steam/Windows/Mac/etc.)
Does the issue occur with one character or multiple characters?
At what point does the issue occur?

Are you running any additional programs alongside Final Fantasy XIV?
When the crash happens, is the PC over heating at all?
Were any other update or changes made to the PC at the time of the crash?

Hello, I am playing on Windows 10 pro through the regular non-steam ffxiv launcher. I cannot confirm at the moment whether or not it happens with one character or multiple but i can only assume from my experience that it will happen on any character, I need to renew my subscription before I can confirm if it happens on another character. I do have other programs running alongside ffxiv such as discord, spotify, and steam, I have not tested whether or not the crash still occurs without them running since I still need to renew my subscription but will do so as soon as I can. The crash tends to happen randomly anywhere from a half an hour to an hour or two of booting up the game. My pc doesn't seem to be overheating but i suppose it's possible something may be wearing down as it is several years old now. When I attempted to turn off directx 11 support to see if that would help my cpu usage spiked up to about 30-40% alongside bouts of lag for a couple seconds, ultimately my game still eventually crashed. I recently updated my graphics drivers for the recent patch but that was after the crashes started happening, so i'm not 100% sure that it's related to the crashes. Here is my system report:

- Reinstall and update the drivers for your graphics card. Although this may not be necessary, it can still sometimes help. (We do see that the graphics driver appears to be updated but if you have yet to do so, we suggest a clean re-install)
- Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive. (Having the game installed on a different drive can sometimes lead to issues)
- Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated. (Please ensure that optional items are also installed)

So I followed several of the steps above, which didn't seem to help as my game still crashed after a while in directx 9 (my cpu usage spiked up to 70% and lagged something fierce, including audio freezes before crashing). I couldn't figure out how to uninstall the game so i simply deleted the contents of my c:/program filesx86/squareenix/ffxiv folder and reacquired them, which seemed to reset all my in game settings but also seemed to fix my crashing issue. I played for several hours with friends today and had zero crashes and still have not crashed as of the time of writing this post, i'm still not sure what the main issue even was but it seems to be working so I believe the issue is fixed and the thread can be closed.
