If I had to go with one of those in your list, it would be beast master. I would love to see a proper minion job in XIV. Before someone says summoner, I actually love EW summoner but it doesn't feel like a pet/minion job. Necromancer would be great too but I dont know if it might be too dark for this game? I know technically we already have undead but ehh...

Time Mage if done well (though they'd have to cannibalize some of AST's spells.

Too dark for FFXIV, the game with Black Rose, Shadowbringers and Tam-Tara hard?

Puppetmaster. It was one of my favourite jobs in FFIX, so would love to see it added here. Would they do a good job of adding a proper pet class again? Doubtful, but I am blindly optimistic about such things haha.

I would love to see a whimsical Puppetmaster as a DPS or even a healer. d=(´▽｀)=b
With how many automatons we've seen this expansion, it seems like there might be a shot!

I see your point, totally. But I just can't imagine a necromancer casually strolling about Limsa with a small undead army behind them. Or even a single skeleton or zombie. IDK even though Id personally find it fun, it would feel very out of place to me.

I don't really know. How about some more "FFXIV Originals"?

I had thought of Ran'jit for a while, but Reaper ended up pretty similar except instead of it being a familiar it's a voidsent. But they could copy and paste Reaper and use a familiar instead in the future.

(I mean, any new jobs are likely to be a copy and paste of another one functionally so...)

As a BRD I want another dot-focused job, but weapon-wise the only job I really want is Blitzballer (FFX my first game, I love the sound fx and it'd have some different animations and most importantly a weapon type and shape completely unique but something they could be reasonably varied in designs for) but I'm willing to wait for 8.0 for it if it needs to share gear with Phys Ranged instead of NIN.

If I had to choose a class, it would be the Spellblade/Mystic Knight/Rune Fencer option
