Question About 6.4 EX Trial and Raid

So I've never really done EX trials or Savage raids before, other than clearing really old ones for glams. This patch, however, I'm actually interested in doing the new trial and raid on EX and Savage, respectively.

I know EX's difficulty, generally, is somewhere between normal raid and savage raid (or at least that's what I've gathered from bits and pieces I've read over the years) and so I know that's the starting point I'll probably go for, though I do want to at least do the first couple of bosses of the new raid section on savage eventually, too.

My question is, what item level is generally considered the minimum for the new EX trial, and what item level for the new savage raid?

the item level for the instance is in the description of the instance in duty finder/raid finder.

The extreme trial for 6.4 has a recommended ilvl of 630. as does P9S. P10S is 635, and P11S/P12S is 640.

However as always, in a full pre-made party ilvl is ignored and you can go in with whatever gear you may have on at the time.

While the minimum IL is only 630, the difference in DPS between full 630 gear and full 640 gear can be as much as 10% from gear alone, and you'll make things significantly easier for yourself and your party members if everyone goes in with full 640 gear. You can get 640 gear from doing the normal raids and buying crafted gear.
