A request to Soken to change certain boss music for specific Endwalker Dungeons

Namely:

The Fell Court of Troia
Lapis Manalis
& The Aetherfont

Specifically the bosses that have the endwalker boss theme be changed to FINAL FANTASY 4 NORMAL BATTLE THEME (EDIT - FOR MID-BOSSES! - Someone here seemed confused, and its the NORMAL BATTLE FROM FF4).

I felt it was a bit jarring since this is clearly a loveletter to FF4 at this point and the endwalker boss themes don't quite work here aesthetically, and so it should be at least complete with the normal battle theme from FF4 accompanying the FF4 boss battle theme at the end of each dungeon.

I remember a similar situation back in Shadowbringers, and they changed certain boss themes at one point that made more sense at the time.

I'm actually a bit tired of the FFIV music.. I was hoping The Aetherfont would go back to Finality, but alas.

The final bosses for Troia and Lapis Manalis are two of the Four Fiends. How does the Four Fiends theme not make sense for them?

The final boss for Aetherfont, Octomammoth, is a boss from FF4. Why are you upset that they're trying to be as accurate as possible for both music and boss?

The final boss for Aetherfont, Octomammoth, is a boss from FF4. Why are you upset that they're trying to be as accurate as possible for both music and boss?

Inferno at end of Castrum Abania is an FFVI boss yet it plays Triumph, they don’t always have to play the boss music that the boss is associated with(not like VI boss theme wasn’t in the game at that point either /s :p) from older games, they choose to, personally I would’ve preferred EW’s final dungeon boss theme for Octomammoth as well but can’t change that.

And I know that whatever dungeon they add for 6.5 will also have that theme because they decided to drag out the void storyline longer than I personally think they should have, and I am very FFIV drained out, this has been worse than Omega in terms of fan service to a single game in a single expansion.

Troia and Manalis use the FFIV standard "Boss" theme ("Battle 2") for their Fiends.

Barbariccia uses the actual Four Fiends theme.

OP is asking for the Dungeon "mid-bosses" to make the carpet match the drapes by giving them the FFIV "normal battle" theme ("Battle 1"), thereby completing the FFIV battle theme triforce.

One key issue. This story CLEARLY takes after ff4 so your example holds little water there. If you have an issue with fanservice in a game like xiv "that's revolves around fanservice" you may be playing the wrong game. Skip cutscenes if it bothers that much. Folks say this post story is lasting to long but I bet if they cut it in half yall would then complain about stories not being focused enough and jumping all over the place.
