I am literally trolling with creating this thread.
However, I'm also serious with the question I'm asking, even though I should already know the obvious answer to the question.
With the various changes that has been made to pvp as well as the people we're meeting and playing with is it even worth trying to work towards being a pvp mentor?
I have averaged about 1 question per expansion while wearing the PvP mentor crown so being one is pretty pointless. If people want PvP help they use the PvP related Discord channels for their questions and I am fairly sure there used to be job specific mentors in those channels helping people out.
I have it for the free coupons I get for 1 pair of socks, and the points for my office max rewards but aside from those perks it's the same requirements for pve mentor so it's only worth it if you deem it so, if it was based on pvp comms I'd be more proud about the bk crown but the mentor roulette is pretty entertaining from time to time
I've had some pvp questions in NN on a more regular basis since the 6.1 rework. The Frontlines questions are always there although most people can answer them since it's more tied to roulette questions and rewards rather than pvp technicalities, but the CC questions or discussions crop up here and there at least on my NN. There is more sprouts and people trying it out, or farming it for the reward series.
