When is SCH’s turn?

So in 7.0 we can expect huge Astrologian and Dragoon reworks. We got a paladin rework mid expansion. A summoner rewor, a mini NIN rework, a monk rework. Now when is SCH’s turn? This job has been in shambles for a long time. Don’t get me wrong. It’s playable and can clear content and all that.

But, the job goes against itself in many ways. Firstly with dissipation locking you out of your faery and faery gauge for 30 seconds. Not being able to control who your faery cast embrace on. Selene has been nuked as well.

All I wanna know SE is when is SCH’s turn for a major rework? Yoshi P even said during Endwalkers job actions video that they have no idea what to do with scholar now. If they can say this then maybe it’s time to rework the job.

What does my fellow warriors of light think? Especially my other scholar mains out there.

Didn't SE already state that there's nothing to change with SCH because it's good as is? I have zero faith in the devs actually doing anything better for SCH, in fact, all the goodies will probably be thrown into SGE instead. There's so much room for improvement for SCH but SE thinks it's "good enough" so here's to copium, fellas.

Sage is basically the way better version of scholar to be honest. I guess that’s SE’s shield baby and you’re right they will give it all the love and just leave us scholars to rot. Shame.

Broil/Malefic/Glare/Dosis, all the same, different visual. I wouldn't be surprised if they removed the healer dots in 7.0.

Its fine, and we get new abilities in 7.0. SGE is great and flashy yes, but OG SCH is still very well loved and has amazing party utility. I dont think its left in the dust or to rot.

You mean we get an "update" to Broil animation and name for 10 extra potency. Then we get some "new" ability on a 3minute cooldown that adds yet another layer of healing+mitigation so that we can Broil even more.

To be fair, this is not an issue exclusive to SCH, but rather all healers. SCH does get less AoE tools and lesser visual updates than the rest though. Protraction, Broil and Expedient are the only "new" things we got in Endwalker (But then again, WHM didn't get anything particularly interesting either). Ruin II is still the same spell, both mechanically and visually than it was in ARR (Though we lost that "Blind" effect that made it somewhat unique), Energy Drain has lost potency but its still the same conflicting ability with the same outdated visuals than it was in ARR.

SCH's kit seems to be leaning further and further into the Fairy aesthetic, and yet our fairy has lost mechanical depth over the years with the loss of Rouse, Selene's unique skills and pet management in general.

Selene removal makes me think they'll either revamp the entire fairy system or just remove it altogether to the point where it's gonna sit there and do nothing, like SMN pet. Then we will "summon" the fairy to do the actual job.
