I'm hoping for a level 1 static light party. Four players talking about their roles and abilities, then figuring out how to use them.

I think you'd be a wonderful raid leader for blind Savage/ultimate releases and somebody who'd make speculation videos about FFXIV upcoming jobs/new job releases and raid ideas and whatnot! Don't let people dictate how you play......... Also, a raid strategy may tell you how to execute it, but I for example like to test the boundaries and see what I can pull to make it my style. I am also not somebody who likes to look at skill rotations, instead, I create my own way of playgame! So please do not let anybody tell you otherwise. Enjoy the game as YOU intend it!
I agree with you.
But the majority of people either don't want to spend the extra time to solve puzzles themselves, or they don't have time to because of work, school, university, and other things in their life like children and family.
Some people are just not capable of solving these puzzles themselves, or don't understand the game enough to.
There are people who will be interested, but not a lot. They may be hard to find, but it is possible to find them.Quote:
I'd like some help communicating the idea to anyone out there. I'm hoping for a level 1 static light party. Four players talking about their roles and abilities, then figuring out how to use them. In early levels, the game developers incorporated the oldest combat strategy, divide and conquer. Although it might seem overkill in the early stages, isn't learning early just a logical way to learn how to maneuver without getting KO'd? May I ask for comments to help expand this idea instead of dissuading me?
Because of how hard it is to find people interested in this, most people don't do it even when they want to.
The way to find them is to recruit for a blind prog static on sites such as
https://www.reddit.com/r/FFXIVRECRUITMENT/
https://www.xivrecruit.com/
Although if you are specifically looking to do dungeons from level 1 it may be even harder to find people, as the people on those websites are mostly looking for extreme, savage and ultimate raids.
Playing this game is like playing a music instrument. You can get the sheet notes and the "puzzle" is solved. But regardless of the sheet music and no matter how good you are you can always improve. Getting the opener done perfectly, keeping uptime, execute the rotation without error while dancing through the mechanics...
And to be able to play in a band everyone has to have the same sheet notes to get the song done. Like everyone has to know the mechanics and have to know how to solve the puzzle. But everyone on their own can add his own little vibrato and nuances to make the song better.
