I am not sure how this new feature would enhance my play experience.
Exactly what is the issue here? QoL for sharing glams, in a simple little suggestion post.
Smh.
I don't think it's a bad suggestion. Wanting to show a friend your new glam but you have to coordinate who's in what zone or where you'll meet up and while that's easy on the same server, we have things like CWLS now. So I could see the use in being able to give a link.
Would be nice but would also be really niche when you think about it. If you're friends with someone or in the same FC they can easily just send you a screenshot of the glamour plate on discord.
If they did make this I'd also want them to be able to allow us to link items from our glam plates the same way you can link items in your inventory and armory.
It didn't seem to me like they were being dismissive, just asking the question: how does this enhance gameplay more than the features we already have. It's a legitimate question, and one the devs themselves would ask in deciding whether or not to pursue. Genuinely, what does it enhance to be able to see the glam of someone you're not even around? How do you even find the person to get that link if they're not physically nearby? Is this something limited to adventure plates like the instant portrait? Because generally the plates/portraits only come up in duties when you're right next to the person and already have a way to examine their glam.
"How does this enhance the game experience" is a legit question. Personally, I'm not immediately shooting down the idea, but I don't quite understand the point of it either and would be interested to get more details.
