Thought on a Hybrid Ranged/ Melee (blitzer)

I'm not sure where i heard this idea from before but i thought it should be brought up again, the idea for the class went something like this

Melee form (fights like Tidus)
-uses a single off hand weapon.
-generates combo like gage like redmage that requires it to weave in and out of ranged form.
-Uses gage to use an ultimate ability like Tidus's Blitz ace where he swings like crazy
-can give itself haste and party member.

Ranged for (Fights like wakka)
-Uses a blitzball that equips to off hand.
-Increases range gage.
-Uses gage to use an ultimate ability like wakka's attack wheel or a mix of them.
-Can apply DOT/Status Effects.

General
-has a far engage and disengage like a mix of dragoons floor tank ability and ninjas teleport.
-Has a sprint like ability that last a shorter amount of time but has the same cool down length but doesn't share a timer with sprint.
-uses the ninja armor type (since its doesn't share a set to my knowledge)
-Can slow the enemy to make certain cast timers take longer to help with mechanics (im not sure how that would work in game)


Again I'm not sure where I originally heard this idea but I added some of my own to it also. I would like to hear what other people think besides my FC whose tired of me talking about ff10.
