1.22c Item Speculations

This is referring to this part of the patch notes:

New treasure chests have been added to Dzemael Darkhold.
Monsters in certain behests now drop new items.
* These items can be obtained regardless of quest acceptance.
New rewards have been added for high-level caravan escort missions.

This section is about Relics, and items dropping in these 3 new spots involving relics... HOWEVER the only 2 new items added were

-Commemorative Coin
-Legionary Visor

I doubt the Visor is what these are talking about, and from the Coin's description it actually sounds like a reward from the new GC quests so my question.

This means the "new items" from these 3 additions already exist in game.

Did they add more area's Inferno, Vortex, and Tremor seals appear?
Will we need beastman coins at some point to progress in the quest and beastman now drop new/more coins?

It might be totally for the parts of the quest that no one has reached yet but since no new items were added that they could be it means they are items in the game already, yes? So what could they be!

You're probably looking for this:

Enchiridion ------ A leatherbound copy of the teachings of Halone─the holiest of Ishgardian scripture.
Allagan Band-----An old, weathered ring carved with ancient runes thought to be of Allagan origin.
Oschon's Finger-------When a thief is caught, a common punishment is to remove a number of fingers proportional to the value of the items stolen. These fingers are then taken and blessed by annointed priests of Oschon the Wanderer. It is thought that, when carried on a journey, these fingers will point out the safest routes, and are therefore cherished by caravan drivers and travelling merchants throughout Eorzea.

The description of the Commemorative Coin is pretty hilarious. Who spends $25 to by a coin that is worth $1 anyways?!

Were those taken from a .dat tool?

Typically the items in the .dat's are not obtainable in game until a patch notes says they are (such as Relic weapons).

1.23 has content involving the 12 Mytho's, those items sound like they are part of that instead of the relic quest.

Oh I see, they are in the 1.22b patch notes, interesting.

That should mean they were also obtainable in 1.22b though, probably a stage of Relic that was implemented, but just no one was able to reach.
