Raise the job boost to level 90

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about job boosts lately and I really feel like raising them to level 90 would be a great move for the game. You know it can be tough for new players or those trying new jobs to catch up to the latest expansions. Having a level 90 boost would help them get into the new content faster making it more enjoyable as they can play with their friends who are already there :cool:

With so much story and content in the game it can be pretty overwhelming for new players... Offering a higher level boost could make the game more accessible and appealing for those who can't commit a ton of time to leveling up.
I also think that having a level 90 boost might encourage players to try out different jobs and roles (I would :p). This can only be a good thing as it could help balance queue times and create a more diverse community overall!

I know some people might be worried about inexperienced players jumping into high level content but maybe the developers could create an in depth tutorial or training mode specifically for >> boosted << characters, this way they'll have a basic understanding of their job before diving into endgame content.

They'll probably add it with 7.0 as tends to be the trend with story/job skips.

If they're not caught up in the story then a level boost isn't going to help them. They as Liana has stated above probably will only put out a lv 90 boost for jobs at some point at or after 7.0's launch.

The level boost is always 10 levels below the current level cap. I don't see that changing anytime soon. You can boost to 90 once the level cap is 100.

to be fair, for many players an indepth tutorial is a waste of development time. they do not access what tutorials there are now much of the time.

not sure how having to play your chosen job for 10 levels is that trauma inducing. if you are "testing" out a new job, trying it at 80 isnt going to get you more interested if you cant stomach it for 10 levels.

Big no on someone getting to buy instant level cap on a class, personally.

This. Already not a fan of being able to buy your way to 80 out of the gate (without having a character already higher) but immediately to level cap? No thanks. We already have enough people who can't play their job even with the ten levels of learning.

Would still need to do the story. What you are asking for is not only a job boost to 90 but they would need a story skip to the end of endwalker which wont be available until 7.0

Not going to happen. 90 skips will be here with 7.0.

This game already hand holds enough....
