In mogstation when choosing subscription types, the webform makes one believe that Entry level subscription cannot have 8 characters per world. However that is not true according to reddit sources. Please update with valid information.

For a Standard subscription the limit of characters per World is necessary to write out, since otherwise people might think they could create as many as 40 characters on a single World. -

FYI Entry subscription used to be restricted to ONE character per world with a total of eight per account. It was changed some time ago.
