LF: Heavy Lore Relevance and High Fantasy Lore Fan RPers
We are a high fantasy FC in Omega (Chaos) who are starting out our roleplay journey and are opening up to recruitment.
We are looking for people/roleplayers who have played through the game (at least A Realm Reborn) and has a very good grasp on and love for the lore up to that point (or more).
Our story is characterized by the MSQ style/FF/JRPG style high fantasy settings, by that we mean that our characters are involved with the more higher level elements the game offers but very much rigid with what the game offers. We take inspirations from outside but then spend weeks (sometimes months) trying to transcribe it into FFXIV setting so it doesn't have any element that breaks existing lore.
We are not /the/ Warrior of Light and not looking for players who RP as such. Think of us as a group akin to the Students of Baldesion, I'd say Scions but Scions tend to often incorporate themselves in events that the world has no way of involving themselves in (such as Shadowbringer plot). Character wise, most of our characters are scholarly inclined either scholar-turned-adventurer or full on scholars/researchers (not the job Scholar). We do welcome non scholarly characters as long as you can provide us with a plot reason on why they would work with our group.
To give a glimpse of what we do, one of the topic that our characters are currently involved with is researching soul, Soul Magic, soul merging (two or more separate entities combining into one) a topic that has been showed in the game since Heavensward. However, this is our research, not our story. We have drama, slice of life elements, emotional moments, actions, etc, pretty much your standard high fantasy JRPG game.
