It's in the title. Whether it's your funniest or sweetest, give us your favorite story in an instance with a sprout.

Sprout going in circles because they were lost in the alliance raid. My guess they were really new and didn't know how yet to use the map to see where everyone was.

People giving too much credibility to the sprout icon. It should be account bound. It is truly hilarious to get the "hmmm...wait, you're a sprout?" comment once in a while on alts.

uh me (tanK) with my friend and g/f sprout doing a dungeon (idk ice place) it has a tightrope to walk across, we failed that boss like 4 times before we finally got the kill best wipe was cuz we was walking across and i realize (as GNB) i could do my charge and was like O i'll get negate the rest of this and charge the boss...then i hit a invisible wall and fell down to my death ... got few dungeon stories like that fun talking trying to figure out mechanics (even if it was old content) working through the problem together.

Funniest sprout story is me queuing into an extreme to help some sprouts only to witness all ""mentors"" leave the moment the instance starts. Makes me chuckle everytime I see that crown.

I keep my sprout on my alts because I play on a DC with really good Novice Networks (and a reliance on PF for MSQ) - and it's a good chuckle when someone sees my sprout (but not my Menphina Earring) and then sees me w2w. :P

When I was a sprout I was standing in the field just outside Horizon planning out my next move when suddenly a naked Highlander man strode across the grass and stopped in front of me before saying, "can I offer you an egg in these trying times?" He then traded me a stack of boiled eggs, bowed, and ran off as quickly as he appeared. At the time I hadn't seen that episode if Always Sunny so I laughed hysterically at how random it was. It was my first taste of how kind and silly the community can be and I've tried to pay it forward to the next generation of sprouts. Thank you random naked Highlander man, wherever you are!

Was back during HW an doing Brayflox normal. While fighting the boss the healer got locked out and could no longer heal anyone, and everyone died. It was hilarious. Even more so considering that healer was me.

So I was doing...I forget what but stack markers were a thing at this point and it so happened to land on a sprout. The sprout wanting to save the others ( and not knowing what this mechanic does ) pops sprint and just bolts away from us.

So I'm a healer and I'm thinking "oh hey I can just rescue them into us" and do just that.

However this sprout was DETERMINED to save us from this mechanic. They backflip away from all of us and I'm just sitting here like...

So they get nuked into oblivion. Once we clear I explain what that marker was. They laughed, we laughed. It was good times.

Oh yeah the one with the frog. Yeah you have to do it legit and no abilities will let you get around it. BLM/MNK/DRG/RDM/SGE/PLD/DRK all have abilities to port or leap to target but it will not allow it...

Yet if you do Trusts....those cheaters can get away with it. Urianger just watches you for a bit before he just teleports over. Estinien of course just jumps over.
