Quick Chat Sounds and/or Blistlist Please

It's normally not a big issue but the chat is really annoying at slower hours. ...embarrassing. I tried to type blist and then added list. Blacklist* is the title I wish I knew how to edit :c

I keep getting groups with someone who spams "Attacking job" "Everyone, Attack" every time they target someone. I tried blacklisting them afterward. That does nothing at all. I still see every line he spams, upward to 20+ a match.

On top of that, Quick Chat is tied to System Sounds? Why? Can we change this? I can block party chat but I don't want to have to choose between muting my entire system sounds, or dealing with this guy I CANNOT blacklist that's spamming.

Can we please resolve one or both of these issues? I'd honestly like a blacklist for duty finder outside of PvP as well. Some people are just rude or spam nonsense. Blocking an entire chat for one person is a little unreasonable.

While I agree wholeheartedly about the sound issues this is actually a correct use of quick chat amongst a sea of Nice jobers and Good match kids.

I agree it's useful, but the sound IS NOT.

Also, he had a bad habit of chasing away from the point and didn't mark a single person that he called out to attack... so half the time we couldn't all 'attack' because we were on the objective and he was doing his own thing alone. That's entirely unrelated to the topic though. I simply didn't find it useful with this particular player, and wish I didn't have to see and hear it.

tbh I don't read the chat even when people keep very serious tabs on the targets to burst. I don't have the time to stop looking at what's actually happening and what I'm actually doing, just to read which job is the new target every 10s, and then try to figure out where they actually are on the battlefield. Maybe I just click weird, but that quickchat is completely counterproductive and useless, where a single mark above the target's head does the job a thousand times better and without a sound.

I just slap emote them to relay the message or wait for them to die and squat on their corpse. /s

IMHO it's just something you have to deal with. If you don't want to match with them, just wait a couple minutes so you'd cycle with different players.

It's me, the person who uses too many /qchats for casual games for fun.

+1. Having more control over UI elements and sound effects like that can only be a good thing.

Also, I think there should be more /qchat messages. Paying attention to enemy and ally limit breaks is kinda everyone's job, but I catch myself at least wanting a "Beware of <job> Limit Break" qchat warning, especially when I know I've got new players on my team. Another would be "Overtime begins soon; we're/they're in the lead."

I can understand not adding a "Don't forget to use your Limit Break" or "Try not to die with 100% MP, please" qchats, though. Kinda too aggressive.

Overtime should be included into the game automatic UI itself tbh. Not having a (sound + visual) warning at minus 30s and a countdown at 10s remaining is baffling.

Shoulda just given us regular chat... :x
