Why MSQ use big words all the time XD?

I get so rly confused when i play through the quests in this game lol. like uhranger just talks like "thou hath a loteth ofeth gilth" and talks like he has a fedora like "by thy leave my lady" and my brain just explodes XD. and then everyone uses old words like "sacorsanct" or "mendcity" and its so confusing and i have to google the word every other cutscene in the msq... do you want people to carry a dictionary when they do the msq? Because if you are you succeeded congrats looooool.

They shouldn't be required to hinder their own creativity because of understanding or lack thereof with respect to fundamental archaic dialects taught at the elementary level, or just a general lack of vocabulary. If you read the passages carefully enough then you can almost intuitively grasp the meaning of the word without needing to look it up.

I mean, this is how the real world is. You read a book or watch a tv show or read a menu and see a new word. You can then look it up, or not. The choice is yours to remain ignorant, or educate yourself.

As nonnative English speaker, I actually prefer it this way. Helps me improve my vocabulary.

Mendacity: A tendency to lie, to tell mistruths, untrustworthy.

Archaic: Old fashioned, of an earlier period and no longer used. "This technology is archaic, well out of date"

I agree. 90s sitcoms and getting introduced to FF games in the 90s helped me learn English much better than any English class ever did.
