Switching to DoH not working

Trying to switch from a DoM to DoH not working. I have no gear equipped and everything I found online says this is how to do it. 3 pictures below but after the 3 picture it just loops. Unable to change, any help would be much appreciated!

Figured out what I was doing wrong. Picture #2 I was clicking on "yes" and so I tried "no" and it worked. Guess it's just the way it was worded to me that was messing me up.

Actually, switching a retainer to DoH won't work at all. The DoH (crafting) classes aren't available to retainers.

Switching to a DoL (gathering) class will, though. Is that what you meant?

I definitely understand why the wording in the second screenshot could be confusing. There's still a distinction between what is a job and what is a class even if players tend to use them interchangeably at times. It's a difference that players would love to see SE remove but at this point, it's too firmly entrenched in the game coding.

I'm one of the people in the opposite school of thought. I want new classes starting at 1, complete with jobstone quests. I want to see MCH without the lunchbox at level 1 as a cavalier.
