Multi-FC or FC Alliances

Something I've noticed while playing is a lot of people have FCs, which is perfectly fine. However, when you meet new people that you like, neither person necessarily wants to leave their FC behind and join a different one - which is understandable. But this has people split apart in a lot of FCs, competing for things like housing.

I thought it might be good to have support that could ally or otherwise combine multiple Free Companies without having to leave them. That way people don't have to abandon their FC, but they could still be in contact or somewhat part of a larger group of people.

How it would all work, I'm not sure. I just know that I've had many times where it would be nice, because I already have an FC I don't want to leave, and I meet a lot of people in the same circumstance. I'd like to be able to ally our FCs to make it easier to reach out to each other, share materials, maybe even find a way to share housing or something.
