Please bring old blue non stance gauge for PLD and WAR?

Hi! This is just a subjective request, but would it be possible to bring back the old Stormblood era non stance blue gauges for PLD and WAR? They looked so much refined versus the current plain gauge meter when we are not in stance mode. Both PLD and WAR had very nice gauges when being offtank. Hope someday we could get them back. Thank you.

Please no. DDs should not have to worry about taking aggro because they are good at their jobs.

I mean they wouldn't need to bring pre-ShB aggro back. Just have a defense stance and a dps stance. Idk if it's a good idea either way, but I do miss stance dancing on warrior.

At that point, everyone would just use the DPS stance for more damage as nothing is going to require the extra defence, making the defensive stance obsolete.

With regards to the OP, the UI team just needs to put out more color options to let players customize their gauges. I can appreciate the work that they're doing with new portrait frames, but I wish that some of that effort went into our in-game UI as well (even if you had to unlock more options by doing content like you do with the portrait system). MMO players spend countless hours staring at their game HUD, so customizability around that should be the priority over everything else.

As far as stances go, the only change that I'd like to see is to reverse the toggle such that the higher enmity gain is the default state, and activating stance simply reduces your enmity generation (i.e. a 'conceal presence' or 'mask killing intent' button that you toggle on or off). That removes any issues around having to always re-apply stance every time that you've re-instanced into synced content.

This is exactly how people who overreact to those saying that casual content should be a little more challenging sound, especially considering we have more than enough tools at our disposal. We aren't saying to bring pre ShB aggro generation back, personal management isn't an impossibility.

I think he means Tank stance would essentially just be as it is now, but just bring back dps stance. We haven't been able to generate enough enmity to hold aggro without stance since 5.0 Launch. We generate so much enmity now with stance that unless there's another tank there to fight you for it we can turn it off after 4-5 GCD's and be able to maintain it for probably the entire fight, so it becomes near useless to keep activated on its own accord anyway.

I can get behind this, but I would rather have that slot be dedicated to being dps stance at that point. If we're going to be blue dps anyway, might as well be able to activate it after gaining sufficient enough enmity to hold on for a while.
