Hotbar lock command/button

Why is it that after all the time this game has been around a "hotbar un/lock" command or button hasn't been added? I know that there is the lock icon at the end of hotbar 1 but I have my ui setup so that that icon sits under another bar if hotbar 1 is clicked on, which is frequent when leveling my crafters. A macro command, an action button, something else please... I don't think it would be hard as it would be along the same lines as opening windows with either the keybind OR the button within the main menu bar, it'd just be another way to trigger the command. I'm no programmer, though I have an intermediate level of computer knowledge, but that seems like it'd be less than a line of code. Heck, make it a viable macro command and no icon needs to be thought of and made, each player can set the icon to be whatever they want! Please, PLEASE allow the hotbar lock toggle to me macroable... (is that even a word?) It's not a deal breaker but it might make several other players happy with this QoL addition.
