Loporrit Tribal Quest - Lunar Beats for Hopping - mount animation concerns

Anyone else having issues with the "ears" on the hop-step mount? Specifically, the spinning/flashing/strobing effect of those now propellers while in flying mode?

Both my husband and I had immediate issues (visual processing). He describes it as disorienting and makes him queasy, while it is an almost immediate headache.
I am running on a monitor that maxes at 60FPS

It is troublesome because it is required use for the quest and can't be avoided.

While it would make the run a lot more difficult and time consuming, I do not believe flight is required to complete that quest.
You can also switch to gatherer job and use it's stealth to get past the mobs.
