A complaint about the Blackjack

Normally I don't care that much for making complaints about the game, especially for something relatively trivial, but I feel like with the Blackjack mount they really dropped the ball. For 4 million MGP, I really feel like the mount music should have been the Blackjack theme from Final Fantasy VI, and not just generic EW mount music. If you are trying to please fans with nostalgia for FFVI and want them to go through the time and effort it takes to get that much MGP, you owe it to them to give them the full experience. It's not like you don't have the license to use that music. On the off chance my voice somehow makes it to the right ears, please put this right.

Except they actually might not have the license to use the music outside of VI. Just because they own the game doesn't necessarily mean they own the rights to the music. Many times a composer will retain the rights.

At least Terra theme from magitek mount, I agree generic EW generic theme is dull for this mount...
Ofc, "Blackjack" or "Search for friends" could be so rewarding for a 4M MGP mount. Nobuo, plz x)

The Magitek Reaper mount uses music from VI. So do the Warring Triad trials, Kefka, the Phantom Train, and the Doman Enclave. Square Enix has the rights to use FFVI music in FFXIV.

I know this is kind of old already, but I'm also a bit sad that the 4 *million* MGP mount has generic mount music. I understand that they're constantly running out of "mount music space" on the servers, but if they can create new mounts for every trial that has unique music, I don't understand how they couldn't partition off a little bit of space for these "luxury optional mounts", too.

The Blackjack is a wonderful way to make a 4-person mount more accessible to casual players that either can't or won't be able to farm the Savages or buy it off of the Mogstation.

Setzer's Theme or Blackjack's Theme would be a great compliment to it!

I just spent close to two months earning mgp for the keys to the Blackjack. It and The Falcon should atleast have Setzer's Theme because they both share it. I would rather have Blackjack and Finding Friends. If you take the time to get this mount square you got your sub money pay for the music rights.

I wholeheartedly agree. When I learned that the Blackjack would be available as a mount, I was thrilled. FFVI has been one of my favorite video games of all time ever since it was released as FFIII. I was curious about how many seats the mount would have, so I headed over to a wiki. (Four was perfectly acceptable to me.) The page had a music link, so I happily clicked it... and heard the standard Endwalker mount music.

I can't articulate my disappointment.

Don't get me wrong: this is a good piece. I quite like it on many mounts, especially my hippo cart. But this is the music of the Blackjack.
