FFXIV 2.0. for Xbox360 or even Wii U?

Im wondering if SE plans to release it also for Xbox360 or even WiiU when 2.0. is considered as being "successful".

I mean the Wii U should be great for an MMorpg... you have the same buttons/joysticks as for the PS3... but you also have a touchscreen, which should be great for chatting or for drag and drop you items within your inventory or even selecting targets. isnt it?
From the hardware its almost the same or even just a little more powerul.

but maybe its too difficult to programm an extra WiiU version? dont know.
what would you think of a Wii U version?

i mean SE would release FFXIV on one of the "next gen" consoles ;)

It seems..

Wii finally caught up to U. In current gen consoles.

360 probly wont get it, but then again the xbox is gonna get a new system eventualy here

wii u may or may not be powerful enough? and imo, probly not the best audience to market too, nintendo doesnt attract the hardcore gamers who are into the mmo style games as much as the other systems do

well the Wii U has slightly more power than the PS3.
i mean they also made batman arkham asylum, assassins creed etc. for the wii U in real(!) full hd (not like the PS3) in slightly better graphics than the ps3. so i think there is slightly better hardware in it.

well nintendo attracts the mass with his consoles.. and we'll have to see what kind of clientele the wii U does attract. there are many core games (even horror) for the release.

wii u is definitly aiming for more hardcore people going from e3 presentation. and ya, its got more power than the ps3 so no reason it cannot be ported to it.

I personally think xbox would be best though with the smart screen technology, you could likely customize that alot more than the wii u gamepad, so you are on a more equal footing to people who have customized the pc version.

ya thats the hurdle. SE eventually managed to win them over for FFXI, so I am still hopeing.

The rumors I heard about FFXI was that MS used it as an advertising tool. Now, they don't need to and want to keep their system closed.

Anyways more to point Yoshida has said in multiple interview they will be looking into other systems after they get the PS3 version up and running. I wouldn't put them out of the question but we will probably be waiting for 720-PS4 until SE decides to persue more avenues for FFXIV.

I also doubt we will see FFXIV for a Microsoft system just due to SE seeming to have a rather rough time with XI and MS's oddball policies for XboxLive.

This. M$ doesn't want SE billing those alreay paying sub to them so 360 won't have XIV (unless SE trick M$ and add XIV to POL...or turn FFXIV F2P when they add cash shop).

But Wii U can potentially run FFXIV and IMO the tablet controller would be magic for it gameplay-wise, going from software kb, map and actions to even some crazy remote-tablet interactive mechanics for stuff like gathering and crafting.

I support an Wii U version for sure...as soon as it's not just a porting. Would be lame FFXIV for Wii U using just the "hardcore gamepad" and a USB kb.
