Housing is for the elite for a reason

The game investment required separates us from the rest of the flavor of the month players, if everyone had a house then there would be no desire to get one.

If anyone could get a house whenever they wanted, there would be no purely FOMO driven desire to get a house. Mostly people who are interested in decorating a house would actually bother to buy one, and the percentage of empty houses would be lower.

There is nothing "elite" about having a house. It is more a matter of luck than anything else.
