Point Allocation in FFXIV 2.0

I'm curious if anyone else has thought about this, but how will the point allocation work in 2.0? Yoshida has mentioned he wants game play to be stress-less, and in version 1.0, there doesn't seem to be any in-game information about what stats do for your character. New players are going to have to research that information, and most aren't going to feel the need, and then one day they might look back on their stats and be like "crap, I worked on all the wrong stats for my Pugilist!"

Basically, I'm just wondering if SE will put in some form of information about the benefits of stats in ver. 2.0.

Not sure about 2.0, but I believe point readjustment will be back before then. IIRC, a couple patches ago they were talking about putting readjustment back 'in a couple of patches' from that point in time :P.

Even so, I think there should be some form of way for players to find out what stats do In-game, and not have to look it up on some wiki. Not that wiki's are bad, but if Yoshi is trying to capture a stress less environment I think that should be something to consider.

Maybe like under the attributes menu, when players hover over a stat, it will show what it's useful for, and what it does.

Turn on your help boxes and hover over the stats in your attributes tab, it'll tell you what each stat does.

Point readjustment exists now.
But you only have a limited amount of times you can do it.
Each time you get a job stone you get an item that lets you adjust points.
