... 'blue' and on the left side of the board, and the opponent 'red' and on the right side of the board. This should be relatively simple to implement.

The current system makes zero sense considering that against NPCs you play as 'blue' and on the left side 100% of the time. I've lost count the number of times while playing as red I've mistaken myself as 'blue' and accidentally thrown a won game and subsequently a tournament. It's very infuriating.

Definitely agree. Considering that every TT match otherwise has the player as blue, it shouldn't really matter if we are displayed as blue, even if we are technically "red." Just place the opponent on the red side of the UI every time, regardless.

Agree, lost 2 games yesterday because i mistook the colours. :(
