The final malmstone EXP requirement feels WAY too high.

When the new 6.3 malmstone dropped, and considering my newest addiction being SCH/Scholar PVP, I thought I would give the honest 'Malmstone Grind' a try. Armor was alright, framer kits were cool, mount was cool. I managed to burn through the Malmstone in the evening that patch dropped. Getting to the armor the evening following 6.3's release. I decided to take a break at around series level 28. (Just before the 5000 Trophy Crystal Reward.)
After taking a break, I to finish up the Malmstone. After noticing how high the malmstone EXP Requirement for levels get, I thought to myself that: "Oh, its getting higher and higher, but at the end I see that you have an repeating tier. Maybe they'll drop down to something like 5000 EXP, or something similar to that so that you can get a lot of trophy crystal for later to collect the stuff you haven't collected yet.":confused:
At least that's what I hoped would happen. Just recently I managed to finally hit tier 31/Infinte in the Malmstone. And I don't think I could properly verbalize the disappointment I felt when I saw that not only did the Trophy Crystal reward dropped down to a measely 1000 TC, but the EXP requirement did not change. Staying capped at 20k Series EXP. :(
At first I asked around to see if maybe it was a case where the UI wasn't updated, but everyone I spoke to said "Yeah, the final tier for the malmstone is 20k EXP for everyone." I asked why people weren't talking about it more, and they just replied with:"At that point you're just playing PVP for the PVP. Not the rewards." Which is an argument I can understand the logic behind but absolutely cannot support. I feel that enters the same vein as 'doing something because you're passionate about it, rather than doing it because of what you get out of it.' Which I can agree with to a certain extent. But at present, I'm trying to collect the Virtu variant of PVP gear for the classes that I play. (BLM, SCH, AST, BRD) But at this point I have lost any if all steam in doing PVP. That isn't just from me disliking PVP, I absolutely adore PVP. But just putting it down to math really sucks. I need to win 22 games of CC or lost 28 to get only 1000 TC.
Wouldn't it be easier to just lower the final tier so that people could more easily grind out the gear/wolf collars they want? Or is there some other part of keeping it at 20k that I'm missing? And would it be possible to maybe have it re-evaluated by the Dev Team to maybe not make the 'reward' for reaching the end of the malmstone something /worth/ grinding for? Having the EXP requirement be 20k just makes me not wanna play PVP cause I feel like the effort I put in for winning games, whether it be in FL or CC, isn't going to be rewarded properly.
