Trying to add more rewards for Overflowing currencies

As of this post, Series 3 has been out for a while and the PVP ranked reward is still the same since Season 1.

PVP's revamp is fun and interesting. I do like the CC mode and all that junk. I just think reward wise it's gotten worse with the currency stuff. I understand that they can't make new stuff immediately hence why the Latest rewards for trophies are dyable recolors of Crystal Tower gear and Coils of Bahamut High Allagan Armor. It's easier to just invert or mute a color pallet to prepare for a Dye color pallet than to design a whole new armor.

But there are plenty of people sitting at max crystals, Wolf Marks (if they forget to spend it on ventures or Glam prisms) and having little or no desire to do Ranked because the rewards are just the exact same as non-ranked minus special plate and title for whatever you cleared. Only changing a numerical number for the season number.

Here are a few suggestions and I'd like to see others. This is not about balance or how the PVP changes ruined Frontlines or anything like that. This is purely 'intensive' reward talk. I also understand this only really applies to older players who have a bunch of the rewards already but not everyone is going to buy the old PVP armor for looks. Some may not like them or ever use them but if they do they have bought them already.

1. Past ranked rewards for Trophies: This is a no brainer. No one really cares about the prestige in MMOs as much as people like to believe. Ultimate Weapons and titles can be bought with ease (I know two ex-friends who bought their Ultimate Weapon and Bahamut clears...). The past PVP rewards, be it the armor or the Mounts should be purchasable for high amounts of Trophies or even Wolf Collars you can convert into. Let people buy the Road rollers or the flying chair. I want more of the ARR/HW armor to be utilized.

2. Place Hunt Rewards of the past for Wolf Marks: If they need to fill the vendor with stuff people can spend their capped currency on, just drop in a vendor to spend more Wolf Marks on stuff from hunts in past expansions. ARR/HW/SB to start with so SHB and EW hunts don't get shoved aside with how they use the same currency. Wouldn't make sense. They seemed okay with allowing two of the Stormblood Mark Minions to be buyable through the past 2 Moogle Tomestone events. I don't see why not?

3. DYES! DYES DYES!: With the exception of certain colors, place the rare dyes on the vendor for marks. Simple and easy to splurge if you don't need Ventures or Prisims.

Any other ideas please post them. I like to hear what others might like to see buyable on the vendor. Try to avoid using crafting reagents or things that are easy to obtain already/have their own system tied to it that people actively do without trouble.

Just give me Aetheryte Tickets at this point.

Id already be happy if they'd just let us by materia token so we can exchange em for whatever we need, when needed...

Yes actually, I would like this as well. I'm kind of burnt out doing my weekly carnivale for them. And pvp encourages multiplayer and queues, unlike the former.

Was really disappointed that they gave us high Allagan gear. CT stuff was great, since there’s no dyeable version of that out there, but high Allagan? Something that already exists in a dyeable version? Why? They could have added dyeable Syrcus tower gear and it would have had way more value.

Right now I really don’t want anything with crystals. I’ve bought all the frames and such and I’m out of things to spend them on other than gear I don’t want.

It’s kind of a stupidly over complicated process but what I’ve been doing with my excess crystals is buying wolf collars which I then convert to wolf marks which I then spend on materia.

Would be nice if I can go back to using wolf marks to buying gear for dungeons and raids. It did help with getting some decent stats in case you didn't have the tomes for the higher level gears right away. Option's currently there until lv 60 at most.

It'd also be nice if we could accept the PVP series rewards out of order. It's kind of silly that if you're capped on trophy crystals, you have to spend them on things you don't really want in order to progress the series to get the unique rewards.
