Dyeable chocobo bardings? Share your thoughts!

So here's something I haven't seen discussed on these forums yet (unless I've simply missed it, of course): adding the option to dye chocobo bardings!

Is it necessary? Probably not. However, I do think it'd be a great way to add another layer of customization to the birds. Even just the thought of a golden "Neo Shinryu" barding makes me excited!

What are your thoughts?

Except Grand company ones,sure why not.Would take some of the fun trying to get that right color for your choco to match it.But not a bad idea.

most bardings have multiple colors in it, so it will be hard to implement

I don't hate the idea, but I do feel that other things should be addressed/added first.

True... but then again there's a lot of armor sets with multiple colors too, and it hasn't stopped those from being dyeable. Still, I see your point.

Like the outdated system of leveling chocobos past level 10 or the relative uselessness of chocobos in combat in most content past ARR due to power creep or how chocobos lose all effectiveness in a post max cap world since they don't scale at all or...chocobos in general right, really.

Yeah, pretty much. Our chocobos have their uses, but they could, and in my opinion should, be much better than they are. They fell way behind the times.
