Access your house with ALT

Is SE planning to add something to have access to our house with all toons?
We are restricted at one house per SERVER, thats totally fine but since I won on a ALT doing decoration on the ALT then go back to main to buy stuff is a pain lol

But no, probably not. They don't design features with alternate characters in mind.

Then you think they'll put something so we can reloc with other alt? I dont mind bidding with my main and wait until i get the house i have since I already own one.

Yeah there's just nothing in that regard. My alt won one too, as head of the empty FC I made specifically for this bullshit purpose. I'd recommend just putting up some junk item for a stupid amount of gil on your alt, and then buying the item on your main so the alt's got money to work with. After that, be extremely certain of what you want to do so you can just hop on your alt, buy whatever you need, and do the decorating in one go instead of spending a ton of time on a lonely alt character that's probably got no connections or friends or anything. It's definitely not ideal, I agree.

Being able to just ... add our alts to our friend lists would go MILES towards QoL for people with alts since it'd let us mail our alts things directly, but I'm sure there's an anti-bot measure behind why we can't do this. Even though bots thrive without something like this.

No, it won't be soon. His answer said they wanted to work on making more plots available for those who do not have a house first before adding QoL for those who already have one.

It would be nice if they made personal housing act like a FC for your alts on the same world. Like your alts would be tenants with their own rooms like FC rooms and if you decide one of your alts becoming your main, you can go to the housing menu and select who owns the plot on your home's placard. I honestly would demolish my solo FC if personal housing allowed you to make your alts as tenants, have a chest that you can move stuff between similar to a FC chest and also have access to the FC workshop and submarines/airships since I'm an omnicrafter.

It would solve so many problem in the game if we could simply just be able to friend an alt. It would make it much easier to transfer things between characters not in the same FC, and would allow us to make alts tenants in housing.

It would only make it easier to transfer housing items, not other items. There still would not be shared storage outside of FC chests, and they may not extend the fix to allowing us to friend our alts for mail purposes.

Aye but it's still a silly response when long term players already know that befriending your alt was possible. So all they have to do is revert that change.

I'd say it's silly to expect SE to revert the change considering how much players had been asking for the ability to friend their alts just for SE to come along and patch the one system bug that made it possible - then ignored the continued requests for it since the fix. That was back in early Stormblood if I remember correctly.

That's not to say I wouldn't love to see them do it but I'm not going to give anyone (most likely) false hope that SE is going to do it either. They've been as stubborn about that as they have been about sticking to ward housing.
