Translation of items rewarded for completion of 6.1 instances is inconsistent
It has been observed that the items rewarded for clearing the following instances have names that do not match up across languages and are inconsistent with naming conventions used throughout FFXIV so far.
Instances:
Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate)
The Minstrel's Ballad: Endsinger's Aria
The instances drop the following items respectively:
Dragonsong Token
Ultimatum Token
To date in FFXIV, clearing an instance of Extreme or Ultimate difficulty will reward the player with a totem rather than a token, e.g. Umbral Totem, Revel Totem, Colossus Totem, etc.
Furthermore, it can be observed that this inconsistency only affects the English language version of the game.
EN: Dragonsong Token
FR: Totem du chant des dragons
DE: Drachenblut-Totem
JP:竜詩のトーテム像 (Dragon poem totem statue)
EN: Ultimatum Token
FR: Totem des finitudes
DE: Endzeit-Totem
JP: 終極のトーテム像 (Ultimate totem statue)
As can be observed, all languages other than English reference a Totem as does every other English reward item for completing an Extreme/Ultimate duty.
Date & Time: Any
Frequency: 100%
World name: Any
Character name: Any
Steps:
1. Complete the instances mentioned above
2. Observe that the item is called a Token rather than a Totem as has been historically used and is used in non-English languages.
Many thanks
