Mentor Roulette adjustments desperately needed

So out of curiosity, I did a count (and for the record my mentor roulette has STAYED locked since stormblood because its so ridiculous). 239 unique duties are currently in the mentor roulette. 239!
Now, considering the requirements for mentor and how to obtain it.... I think its long over due for a rework in the mentor roulette.
I think Mentor roulette needs to be broken down. Mentor Roulette 4 man duties, Mentor Roulette Raids (Normal/Hard Trials, Normal Raids and 24 Man) and then finally Mentor Roulette EX Trials.
There should be an unique award for a mentor who willingly runs any EX trials sync'd.
Its a tall ask to expect mentors (some of us who have been playing since 2.0 especially) who may not have touched some of the EX trials sync'd in 5-8 years, not to mention all the mentors who go their EX clears by unsyncing and don't know the mechanics, to be able to "help" and "guide" sometimes up to 7 new players who usually are undergeared to clear those EX trials, especially in ARR and HW. Its further adding to the full blow dislike of mentors in general in the community.

It's fine as one big roulette. That kinda makes it fun. (EX can suck, but I haven't seen one in a while) If you break it up the way you suggest, people will likely avoid certain categories or focus on one. That defeats the purpose of being a mentor. No amount of reward is going to move many people to run a 24 man mentor.

I wish it could just be a "first clear" roulette instead of a "fill the slow queues" roulette.

If I had power over it.

I would indeed make the mentor only version require that there be a first timer in there.

On the other hand, I'd make an almost exactly the same one, open for anybody who meets certain, magical, ever changing (people will figure it out in hours) requirements, but is otherwise completely public and does not require mentorship, that cleans up any que that's gone longer then 15 minutes, no matter WHAT it is.

Based one some of my FCmates who’s been farming their mentor credits, this is exactly what they want to happen lol.

I recently get 1k achievement but mostly from my run, tank/healer have higher chance to get Praetorium (Which I really hate it) while melee DPS mostly get guildhest in a row...

Mentor roulette is just backfill for most content lacking people in queue. It should stay as such.

NGL if it became "first clear only" then it'd be a slooow queue giving mostly EX, optional cap level Dungeons and Trials, and Alliance Raids that could be CT most often (Alliance Raids are part of the Mentor Roulette, right?).

Mentor roulette exists to help players in any content in the game.

If you are just trying to make it easier to get rewards from it, then you are using mentor roulette for the wrong reasons and should take that burger king crown off and retire back to the casual side of the game.

The rewards are for helping others, they are not there to be farmed for self satisfaction.

If your excuse is 'i dont know these fights' or 'i dont do this content' then go learn them and MENTOR the people that don't, its kind of the POINT of the mentor system.
