Only stuff from the mog station that gets mailed to you are shared with every character. Mounts/minions earned in game do not get shared to another character. There is no system in place for that.
Even then it’s specifically the ones on the mog station that state ACCOUNT WIDE on them, not every purchase is account wide.
No, a majority of mounts/minions are not shared. The ones that are shared are purchased on the FFXIV Shop and specifically state that they are account wide.
