Hildabrand relic weapons?

Are these, at last, FINALLY the most powerful of blades?

Are we going to attract Greg?
Is he going to try to take them from us once we've completed them?

Pfft, the 'strongest of blades' thing is just a running gag with Gilgamesh throughout the FF series, in that he's always chasing what he thinks is a strong or legendary weapon... only it turns out it's an inferior knock-off (such as 'Excalipoor'), and humiliated accordingly. And we've had enough battles against him as it is, it's time we had another fighter to challenge.

in FFV, which theoretically means by that point Gilgamesh has experienced every single mainline FF game that will have ever existed and thus sealing FFV as the real endgame of the entire series c:

Mao finally finished Hildibrand quests and gots shiny new stick. Is PURPLE (Mao's favorite color)! Mao kind of sad though. Mao wanted to do more Hildibrand quests.

Nah cause Greg in the mobile game FF Mobius told us about Bartz when he went on a rant comparing our character in that game to main characters from the mainline FF titles calling us a failure as a warrior of light. He even went as far as to say there were only 15 chapters if we skipped all the spin-offs, sequels, and side stories...
