Suggestion: 2-way Friend Removal

Hi, a GM has recommended me to leave my suggestion in these forums because of a problem I am having with the friend list system.

I think most players in this game assume that when you remove a friend from your Friend List, then you're gone from theirs as well, but that IS NOT the case. The other person still has you in their friend list and still has access to things like, teleportation to your house, your island sanctuary, your location, your name will be a different color when they see you in-game, if you're recruiting on PF, etc...
All the blacklist does, to the best of my knowledge is prevent you from seeing the blacklisted person's messages and I think you also can't join their PF, which is a very lacking system, espcially in stalking and harassment situations where you could be seeing the harrassing messages and reporting them to a GM if you hadn't blacklisted them.

Recently me and my partner have had a disagreement with someone we used to be friends with and we've known this person to abuse the friend system with people who she hasn't been friends with for years, for stalking reasons and she kept defaming them as well with things that we now question whether they're true or not. She also joined our FC with an alt to keep an eye on us.

This is concerning since your only escape from someone like this is to forget all of your progress in game and either quit or make a new character.
Changing your name doesn't work, you're still in their friend list and your lodestone link is the same.
Moving servers also doesn't work, because of the lodestone and because they can still see you in their friend's list.
Moving data centers will turn your character in their FL as (Unable to Retrieve), which then will make your stalker go on your lodestone link and follow you there.
If you blacklist somebody, that doesn't stop them from making an alt and bypassing it. Also they can still moogle mail you.

Many of these "solutions" will have you lose your in-game house, appartment, leave your FC and your friends behind.

None of these solutions are good solutions and no one should have to go through any of this simply because of really bad friend system and blacklist system.

I am here to suggest that these problems, which I am sure I am not the only one going through them, are fixed by making friend removal a two-way thing and blacklist an account wide thing and please, PLEASE make it more effective so you don't have to deal with that particular person in your game experience.

Until then, I advise everyone to not add people to their friend list, esepcially not in initial stages, because once you add them you are stuck with them and you never know if that person is gonna be a problem. I certainly am not adding any more friend in-game because of this.

I wanted to test these claims as they seemed like a major oversight and here are some corrections:
1) Estate teleportation: If you have truly removed this person then they won't be able to access your estates through teleportation through you. So to visit your private house they would have to personally walk to the location. They could be friends with anyone in the FC and still have access to FC teleportation so unless everyone in the FC has removed this person they will have teleportation access through that person.

2) Island Sanctuary: You can set it as Friends only or FC only or Private and those are based off your settings and friends list. So if they aren't in your FC or friends they can't join your island.

3) Your location is also public information. Player Search features exists.

4) You can receive Moogle Mail from people who you have removed. However if you have blacklisted them you can't receive their mail.

5) If you have blacklisted someone they can't join your PF groups that you personally create.

So, they only have your name, Lodestone and see you with an orange name if you have them blacklisted.
