[SPOILERS] Why does the WOL have an extra Spirit Vessel?

In the patch 6.15 Hildibrand quests, Beq Lugg needs a Spirit Vessel to carry the inspector's soul back to the Source ... which the WOL just happens to have on hand.

Does anyone remember when/where we got the extra Spirit Vessel?

i think its grahas but he's out of it now so it was empty

The implication is that, after merging the Exarch with G'raha, we kept the vessel. Or, alternately, that Beq Lugg can make more.

All six of them are "spare" now, really. I think G'raha has one (he loans it to us in Azys Lla when we're trying to free Tiamat) but we don't know what happened to most of the others. They're effectively keys for accessing Allagan systems, so they still have value to carry around.

If you've done the Void quests following on from the Shadowbringers role quests, we use one of the vessels (supplied by Urianger) to transport Unukalhai's soul to the First, so perhaps we kept that one.

I was trying to think of a specific instance when we were given an extra vessel, but couldn't remember any.

Interesting! I'm going to look for those quests now. There are so many side quests I haven't done.

You also used G'raha's vessel during the lvl 85-86 story when you...

returned to the first to ask Elidibus about the Elpis flower.

I dont remember giving it back after that, so you would still have it for the first leg of the EW Hildi series.

Bigger question is why we can't take the vessel thing from the dog, drop it on the ground and then stomp on it repeatedly. The salvation was so close.
