Why not provide a second Augmentation skill to sage?

So we know how Eukrasia augments certain GCD skills by turning them into their Eukrasian counterparts (Diagnosis / Prognosis becomes a shield skill, Dosis becomes a DoT). But it only augments 3 skills, which isn't much.

So what if Sage has a second Augmentation skill that other than Eukrasia?

I feel like this idea could work very well to strengthen the sage's identity that 'augments offensive and healing magic actions'. Truth be told, it felt really strange for "Dykrasia" to just be an AOE attack while "Eukrasia" is the augmentation skill (Dykrasia and Eukrasia are the exact opposite in meaning). I rather have another augmentation skill be named "Dykrasia" in contrast to "Eukrasia" and have Sage's AoE be renamed to something else. This way, "Eukrasian" skills can be the more protective form and "Dykrasian" skills can be the more offensive form. In this manner, we could keep our current gameplay without worry about lacking hotbar space for more skills.

Finally, the biggest possibility I think Sage's implementation of "Dykrasia" can give is that -- Who says Eukrasia can't be activated when Dykrasia is active? Eukrasia is simply a status buff, so what if sage can augment their skills twice?

Under the Dykrasia buff, if Eukrasia is also activated, Dykrasian skills get an additional effect attached to them. This will be 1 second longer on the GCD, but it can drastically give more ways for the sage to amplify its healing output as well -- while simultaneously separating it from the other healers due to having a completely different pacing to our GCD than other healers.

I feel like there could be a lot of potential when expanding sage's actions in this manner because they can still rely on GCD healing, but they can also be able to adhere to their DPS-to-heal gameplay. Just food for thought. Do you think a second Augmentation skill like this would work?

I'm not opposed to the idea but the issue is that Eukrasia already does little in terms of gameplay at the moment : it's either a dot refresher or it's a GCD heal with lacking interactions. I'd rather have them work on making the one we have interesting before adding new gimmicks.

I assume the devs would argue that Zoe, Soteria, Krasis count as Augmentations and leave it at that, but I did have an idea (the one in the edit) of making SGE's gameplay be all about augmenting your one damage skill (Dosis) in a variety of ways, which would justify the fact it only has Dosis and the DOT. The complexity and interesting optimization stuff would come from choosing which augment to use for which situation, making Kardia AOE for 4 shots, making your damage transfer via Kardia to get more of a 'do damage to heal' identity, creating a shield via Kardia to reward pre-planning for a raidwide by being able to cut out a E.Prognosis cast, etc. Also, the MP costs on GCD stuff would be removed and moved over to the Augments, meaning MP management becomes a part of the gameplay, there'd be a cycle of 'spend addersgall to get MP > spend MP on augments to get addersting > spend addersting on damage and generate addersgall faster > repeat', which would also mean as a side effect, Piety would allow you to dump that spare MP on more augments, which would lead to more damage, which would counteract the fact Piety is pretty crap as a stat because it adds no damage.

I feel like this would just cause complexity for complexity's sake. I'm not sure I see the value there. The reason why it's limited to 3 skills is because it's simpler to track. Eukrasia + Heal = Shield heal; Eukrasia + Attack = DoT.

Adding more complexity to that would certainly be against Squenix's design philosophy for the game right now.

Imo am not trying to ask for button glut but since sage is set to me that it dont give a gloat feeling i wish dot dosis to be a button press instead of augument. I feel it wastes abit of dps and its annoying when its off and sometimes I wanna throw up a e diag or prog but gotta stop to aug dosis throw again. Also in rollos below lvl 30 content no dot but then again we get an aoe at 26 which the other 3 healers dont get mm.
