Housing Bids When You Transfer?

I've been thinking about transferring to the new DC. However, I happened to put a bid in for a house on my server before I thought about it.

If I transfer now, before the auction finishes, will I lose the money I put in?

Yes you will lose it.

From the transfer service website:

So suggest waiting until it finishes (and hopefully lose so you can collect your refund!)
