SCH Faerie ghosting abilities - Just remove Seraph

The faerie AI needs some help and has for a while. The interaction is so weird between abilities like Fey Union and Fey Blessing. If you double weave these abilities the Faerie will confuse it self.

I.e.)
Casting Bio->Fey Blessing -> Fey Union->Broil will often result in the Faerie casting Fey Union first and then interrupting the Union to cast Fey Blessing. The faerie will not recast Fey Union.

The other problem I'm having is well documented and known but using abilities like Fey Illumination, or Whispering Dawn shortly before summoning Seraph will ghost they abilities. Placing them on cooldown without the effect going out.

i.e) Casting Bio -> Whispering Dawn -> Summon Seraph. -> Broil

Additionally, Utilizing Whispering Dawn or Fey Illumination with 1/2 seconds left on Seraph duration will also ghost these abilities.

I'd rather no have seraph at all than have this problem. If it can't be resolved next expansion can we just remove seraph in place of something else?

Finally, using Consolation with 1 second left on Seraph duration will not apply the shields.

It always cracked me up that in the expansion where they gutted the pet AI and made it super clunky, they introduced a summon state for Eos that would then consistently ghost your inputs if you tried to use Whispering or Illumination while Seraph was summoned.
I seriously don't get the point. Consolation is definitely great, but Seraph herself is literally the same low poly model from Scholar's limit break. They couldn't even be assed to make it look good when trying to give SCH something flashy. I'm in agreement; remove Seraph and return it as Rouse, and when Eos is Roused she can execute Consolation. If we had this too, maybe we could use Fey Blessing whenever we wanted instead of arbitrarily being locked out of it for no reason like we are when Seraph is summoned!

I don't see why we couldn't keep the independent GCD for Lily (the fairy's name). Why do we need to double weave fairy skills in the first place? We used to be able to trigger fairy skills while casting our own abilities because the fairy was its own entity accepting our commands. Now it's a phantom limb that loses Bluetooth connection so reliably that working around it is just part of the optimization.

Yea, I hated how they tried to sell it as a benefit too, "Now you don't need the pet hotbar!" when you always could place the abilities on your own bar since 2.0. Really hated that change and I hate how everyone just went along with it because none of the influencers play healer.

The forum didn't "go along with it", there were hundreds of posts/threads that were completly ignored by the devs. The only acknowlegment It kinda got was I think a bit before 6.0 with "we're not going back to 3.0" while dismissing anything inbetween.

I also don't care about Seraph for another reason : "angelic" aestetic is tied to Amdapor, sch being from Nim there was no reason for that skin/name.

The removal of pet GCDs is definitely one of those things that makes me say “why?” Casting pet spells in the middle of your own spells is such a cool little detail that feeds into SCH’s identity.

They improved the fairy’s AI in 6.0 but the only way to ever really make the oGCDs work properly is to completely kill off the fairy as an entity and that would be really sad.

Agreed, there's no reason for the separate summon state. It could simply be a buff for the fairy that grants access to Consolation. Similarly Dissipate should simply make the fairy dormant (such as a debuff that temporarily disables embrace and fairy abilities) instead of removing it entirely. Both those changes would mean Place no longer resets and far less abilities ghost.

Also Summon Fairy should be an oGCD and I agree on the independent GCD for the fairy. A pet should be a perk for the job, not a hindrance. About the only perk the fairy really has now is Place to apply Consolation to the whole group during split mechanics, but then Lilybell and Star exist too and don't need a clunky AI to manage.

Its pretty funny how lopsided Eos/Selene summoning is compared to Carby, or Kardia CD upon application compared to tank stances. Just shows how utterly separate their standards are for balancing healers and other roles.
