Ranked Crystalline Conflict needs old Feast rewards to keep it alive
This will undoubtedly get hate from the old Feast crowd but it's true. I've spent the entire day today, 10 hours, in queue for ranked and no matches have been made. Everybody has already gotten their Crystal portraits and title, with the top 100 titles becoming more and more common. For most players who've done ranked there simply isn't any juice left to squeeze from the game mode, with those wanting the Alpha Wolf title playing casual for the much faster queues all day long. Ranked needs rewards that aren't static otherwise players will receive them once and never have a reason to touch it again. The old Feast rewards fit this niche and overall PvP theme perfectly.
Every season should have a corresponding Feast seasonal reward for all top 100 players on a rotating schedule. This helps prevent people simply hitting Crystal rank and leaving the ranked mode dead for the rest of the season. Over time new players and those who didn't place the first time will build up and want their own chance at earning them, keeping the ranked mode active over time with minimal investment from the development team. Thankfully they've seen the overall positive feedback regarding the gameplay, now it's just a simple matter of fixing the reward structure. Please take what I've typed in this post in consideration. I really like the competitive nature and don't want to see it die off when others are willing to play it as well if the proper incentive over casual mode is there.
